Aaliyah To Be Honored At Madame Tussauds With Wax Figure

On Monday (Aug.5) the Madame Tussauds Las Vegas museum unveiled its plans to honor the late R&B songstress, Aaliyah, in their throwback room. The museum has also announced that the exhibit will begin on August 22nd.

Got to Give it Up for Aaliyah as she joins the rest of the ‘90s crew in our throwback room for all of baby girl’s fans to pay homage to the Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number songstress,” the museum said in a statement. “Go Back and Forth with Aaliyah as you jam and reminisce with the iconic singer at our attraction.”

We lost Aaliyah nearly 18 years ago but fans of “baby girl” continue to keep her legacy alive. The museum and the Aaliyah estate are giving fans an opportunity to be a part of the unveiling during the launch party, hosting a contest on the Aaliyah App using the hashtag #ShowUsYourAaliyah.
