Per league sources, the Oakland Raiders have released their star wide receiver, Antonio Brown. The shocking news comes after Brown got into an altercation with Raiders GM, Mike Mayock. The situation was merely the icing on the cake of a rather painful deterioration to witness of Brown’s character.

Along with the firing is a hefty $215,000 fine from the team for Antonio’s recent misconduct. It’s reported that after the fining Brown told the team, “release me.” Brown also woke fans up after sharing an Instagram video that highlights his recent troubles, calling them “false narratives.”

The release makes Brown a Free Agent and available to be signed by other teams. In terms of speculated landing spots, many fans think that New England is a front runner. NESN writes, “people already are afraid all this Antonio Brown nonsense in Oakland is going to land the receiver with the New England Patriots at some point.”

As we get more details on the situation, we will inform you.
