Mac Miller’s Dad Delivers Touching Statement On Drug Overdose & Risks

Rhea Peckherd | September 9, 2019

After losing his son last year to drug overdose, Mac Miller’s father, Mark McCormick delivered some strong messaging on drug abuse and the risks that it presents to human health.

In the message, McCormick also shares sheer appreciation for the recent arrest of Cameron James Pettit, the individual who dealt Miller the lethal dose of fake Oxycodone laced with Fentanyl. “So they finally caught that motherf****r,” McCormick shared to a crowd in Miller’s Pittsburgh hometown.

Pettit faces up to 20 years in prison on charges of distribution of a controlled substance. If you or someone you know is facing a drug abuse issue, please contact the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration at 1(800)662-HELP (4357).
